 Sh. Bishamber Dayal Tanwar Born on 4th May, 1932 in a Rajput family in Naraina Village, New Delhi. His father Ch. Bohat Ram was a farmer. Sh. B.D. Tanwar was awarded with first Division in the General Knowledge Test conducted by Ramjas higher Senior Secondary School in 1949. He passed his Higher Secondary Examination in 1950 from Ramjas Higher Secondary School, Anand Parbat, Delhi and Intermediate from Panjab University (Camp) College, New Delhi in 1951 with second Division. He was selected in Government service in 1952 at Railway Mail Service (RMS), Government of India, while studying. In 1952, Sh. B.D. Tanwar was married to Smt. Chanderwati according to the custom of the region at that time. He also attended Higher Examination in Hydraulics and Irrigation Works at the Government Technical Examination held at Madras in 1957. Sh. B.D. Tanwar obtained B.A. in Mathematics with a Second position from Panjab University (Camp) College, New Delhi in 1962.  It is pertinent to mention here that Sh. B.D. Tanwar did a short term course in Office bearers Training Course conducted by Delhi Cooperative Institute Ltd. Faiz Bazar, Delhi in 1962 and awarded short term certificate.

He also continued his studied and took admission in LLB. He completed LLB degree from Meerut University in 1969. He has successfully completed various other courses and degrees also. He started his practices as a Lawyer in 1970. He was the only Lawyer in the Naraina Village in those times and Started high practice at lawyers (Advocate) and was well known of the Village Naraina as Vakil Sahib. He was also associated with Rashtriya Sawyam Sewak Sangh (RSS).  He was an energetic and promising young man of our village and helped the poor and neglected sections of the society in their legal problems. He was worried to see the condition of the poor and felt that it can only be improved by imparting properly education. He established a Society namely The Naraina Adarsh Cooperative Multipurpose Society Ltd. in 1959 as a founder members with the group of Sh. Om Prakash Verma, Late Sh. Jagrup Singh Panwar, Sh. Master Bhagmal, Ch. Rampat Tanwar (Ex-Councillor of Jansangh (Now Bhartiya Janta Party), Sh. Bidhi Ram Tanwar, Sh. Raghunath Singh, Sh. Lal Singh, Sh. Braham Swaroop, Sh. Man Singh Tanwar and others with a motive to collect money for helping villagers in their daily needs. With his kind efforts and nobel thoughts, the sapling planted then has now grown up as a huge Banyan tree.
